MUSIC // JORDAN O'KEEFE

Britain's Got Talent is probably the only talent show that I watch from beginning to end. 

And this season is no exception. In fact, this year might be the best pool of talents.

You just didn't know who to cheer for. So, this brings me to Jordan O'Keefe.

He made it to the finals but didn't place the top 3 

but I'm sure he'll be signing with a record company soon. 

His rendition of Whitney Houston "I Will Always Love You" just gave me all the warm fuzzies.

TRAVEL // VANCOUVER

During the Victoria Day weekend, I got on the plane and headed to Vancouver for my dearest friends' wedding Jen & Jason. It was fun to see my old friends and getting reacquainted with the city where I went to high school. It rained a lot (quite typical in May) but for one day I was able to whip out my camera and take some shots. 

Thank you for the four amazing days, Vancouver.

CAPTURED // SHREYA & SID SAY 'I DO'

Last year, Sid contacted me to capture their proposal and a year later they said their "I do". And I was glad to be part of it again even if it was just their civil ceremony. But I'm glad to have seen the ceremony since I won't be able to make the trek to India for official wedding ceremony later this year.

I had the honour to attend and capture my cousin, Doreen saying I do to Richard. 

It's always great when you know both the bride and groom and it's like a big reunion with everyone not just family members but family friends who I haven't seen in over a decade.

MAY JUST FLEW BY.

Life has been a whirlwind the past month. 

At times, I wasn't sure which city I was in, much less the day of the week. 

But after finally being back in the city for a whole week. 

It's all coming back to me. 

I started May with me accepting a job offer. 

I haven't really had much time to digest this yet but so far it's good.

The people are great and the best part is amazing the team dynamic and office culture. 

During this time also had me play tour guide for my visiting relatives. 

So I was balancing work and being a good hostess.

During the Victoria Day long weekend, I flew to Vancouver for my friends' wedding.
It was one epic 4-day trip. Barely slept a wink.
And after arriving in Toronto, 48hrs later I was off to NYC for my cousin's wedding.

And now it's June. I'm just excited to do catch-ups and quiet times.

Oh yes! I'm having a girl crush moment with Carey Mulligan. 

I am just so in love with her style especially when she went blonde and started to channel her alter-ego Daisy Buchanan. Ever since then her style has went from comfy chic to timeless chic. 

EDITORIAL // VOGUE MAY '13

I don't think I've been this obsessed over a book to movie remake since... never.

I was so sad when the December release date got pushed to May. 

But next week, Great Gatsby FINALLY opens. 

And I'm excited to see the adaptation but even more excited to see...

the men looking dapper in Brooks Brother suits,

the women dazzling in Prada dresses,

and all of the sparkling Tiffany jewelries. 

So, to continue on my love for this movie... 

have you seen Carey Mulligan in the May issue of Vogue?

She looks absolutely divine and those couture gowns. 

Enough said.
