I, at times, obsessed over certain affordable brands. Right now, I'm coveting Zara's current collection. Inspired by the Spring/Summer runway, Zara's latest collection has all of it and the best part that it's affordable. J'adore and I want it all. MONDAY STYLE FILE #19

After re-watching the seasons of Sex and the City. I got curious with The Carrie Diaries and surprisingly I'm hooked. Before there was the sex... before there was the city... there was just me Carrie - Carrie Bradshaw. This follows the life of Carrie Bradshaw in the 1980's - during her high school years. What I am more mesmerize as per usual is the fashion. Will the 80's fashion trend continue to slowly come back?

RUNWAY // LUCIAN MATIS FALL '13

The Lucian Matis was the second last show of Toronto Fashion Week and you know the saying "save the best for last" - well it holds true in this case. One of the most impressive runway showing to date. The show took place at an off-site location at the luxurious One King West Hotel. The collection was a combination of structure, minimalistic and luxury - all in one go. It was a surprising look because it was different from Matis' past collection but in any case, I am completely in love with it. Ball gown skirts and structured tops and to top it off unexpected fur lining - how can you not love it?

This season - pretty much across all of the runways... it's all about black and more black. And Thomas Balint was that. Minimalist black. Drop by his flagship store on Queen West.
