No idea where the love for leather came from but I'm completely obsessed with leather detailing that can be found in today's fashion. From affordable Zara to Aritzia to Club Monaco. You can pretty much find the perfect leather detailing from all kinds of price point. So you have no excuse to not have at least one in your closet. It's a classic look that will add edge to any outfit you put together.

DAILY OBSESSIONS // BLACK & WHITE ZARA

Is it me or did Zara literally go black and white in their new collection? Not that I'm complaining. It's nice to see that the black and white trend is making a big comeback. Black is the new black. The thing about black and white is the contrast with each other that makes it such a bold combination. Then when you add stripes, colour blocking and clean lines... now that's when you get my attention. I presume since the runway was pretty bold with geometric shapes aka what Marc Jacobs did for Louis Vuitton SS13 collection, it's safe to say that black and white will stick around for a bit longer. It is one of the most timeless colour combination and it just oozes sophistication.  So, I'm really loving what Zara did, with all the other brands showcasing colours and floral prints for Spring/Summer, I'm glad that Zara decided to be classically bold.  

Now... let the oohhh-ing and aahhh-ing begin...

It's bold yet simple. I am just over the mood for this print.

I saw this 3.1 Phillip Lim over-sized coat a couple of weeks ago at J+O.

It's a beaut isn't it? And the best part it's reversible!!!!

It's currently 50% off at J+O - sadly they ran out of my size. 

OBSESSIONS // GOLD CAPPED TOE

Recently, I've been seeing a lot metallic capped toe and since then I've been obsessing over them. Then, at Eaton Centre I saw these Zorro boots by Jeffrey Campbell at Little Burgundy. Aside from the black, it also comes in the blue and burgundy. For me, it was a toss-up between black and blue because I've been obsessing to get a pair of blue shoes. But I figured the black ones are a better way to go. So, there you have it. I finally got a pair of tied up flat boots with a metallic capped toe and that makes it my second pair for Jeffrey Campbell. I am one happy girl.

OBSESSIONS // SHOES GALORE

It's that time again... something about shoes in the summer and more specifically shoes that are sold in Asia. The parentals are coming back from their hibernation in South East Asia and my to-buy lists mainly consists of shoes. Shoes. Shoes. I don't know why... last time I went back I came back with NINE (9) yes... you heard me NINE NEW PAIR OF SHOES! Sadly... only a few survived because of the wear and tear. But that also means... new shoes in my collection.

I've been reacquainted with brands I fell in love with and was introduced to new brands. So far... I have a pair of wedges and flats. I can't wait to wear them come this spring/summer.
