I, at times, obsessed over certain affordable brands. Right now, I'm coveting Zara's current collection. Inspired by the Spring/Summer runway, Zara's latest collection has all of it and the best part that it's affordable. J'adore and I want it all. Here are some of the looks that I would love to add to my closet :)
After re-watching the seasons of Sex and the City. I got curious with The Carrie Diaries and surprisingly I'm hooked. Before there was the sex... before there was the city... there was just me Carrie - Carrie Bradshaw. This follows the life of Carrie Bradshaw in the 1980's - during her high school years. What I am more mesmerize as per usual is the fashion. Will the 80's fashion trend continue to slowly come back?
The Lucian Matis was the second last show of Toronto Fashion Week and you know the saying "save the best for last" - well it holds true in this case. One of the most impressive runway showing to date. The show took place at an off-site location at the luxurious One King West Hotel. The collection was a combination of structure, minimalistic and luxury - all in one go. It was a surprising look because it was different from Matis' past collection but in any case, I am completely in love with it. Ball gown skirts and structured tops and to top it off unexpected fur lining - how can you not love it?
This season - pretty much across all of the runways... it's all about black and more black. And Thomas Balint was that. Minimalist black. Drop by his flagship store on Queen West.
